This error is displayed during a disk group  import if a disk belonging to the disk group is inaccessible. This error can happen if the disk is not visible or returns errors for disk access requests. This may be due to loss of disk connectivity, physical disk access errors, or administrative disk removal.

To make the disk accessible to Veritas Volume Manager so that the disk group import can proceed, check and fix the possible causes listed above. If some disks are currently unusable or inaccessible, you can use the -f option option to force a disk group import. However, you should use this option with care.
