Error Code details
V-5-1-14035
Severity: Warning
Component: Volume Manager
Message:
The Read Capacity 16 command failed. Hence the disk size will be truncated to 2TB size only
Description:

Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) uses a pass-through interface to send the Read Capacity 10 SCSI command to retrieve the device capacity. If the number of logical blocks on the device exceeds 2 TB , which is the maximum value supported by Read Capacity 10,  VxVM issues a Read Capacity 16 command to retrieve the device capacity. If the SCSI Read Capacity 16 command fails, device size is truncated to 2 TB. The command failure can be caused by the non-support of SCSI standards, or problems with the disk array and disk controller.
