Description:

You can obtain Dynamic Multi-Pathing (DMP) support for a specific array by adding a corresponding Array Support Library (ASL). This message displays if you try to add a previously excluded ASL using the following command:
 

vxddladm addarray libname=lib_name

The message may also display if adding the ASL fails.

Check if the ASL is excluded. Enter:

vxddladm listexclude all

If the ASL is excluded, include it. Enter:

vxddladm includearray libname=lib_name

If ASL is not excluded, check the validity of the ASL by cross-verifying the ASL version. Enter:

vxddladm listversion libname=lib_name
