Description:
This error message is displayed for the following scenarios: • The hostname length is more than 15 characters after stripping off the Domain Name System (DNS) • The CMID cannot be fetched from LLTTAB file (/etc/llttab) for hostname • The hostprefix is not set

Perform any one of the following options: • Make sure that the SYSNAME (/etc/VRTSvcs/conf/sysname), the hostid in “vxdctl list” and the hostname configured (as given by “uname”) is the same as the entry in LLTTAB file corresponding to this node. To set hostid, use the following command: # vxdctl hostid • Set the hostprefix using the following command: # vxdctl set hostprefix=
