Error Code details
Severity: Information
Component: Volume Manager
Creating VSET with Atomic-Write capable volume would make the VSET itself Atomic-Write capable so only Atomic-Write capable volume can be added to it.
VSET is a collection of multiple volumes. In Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) 6.2 release, all the volumes in a VSET can either be atomic-write capable or non atomic-write capable. Hence, creating a VSET using a particular type of volume decides the type of that VSET. For example: If a VSET is being created using atomic-write capable volume, then, only atomic-write capable volumes can be added to that VSET. The same is applicable while creating VSET using non atomic-write capable volumes.
