To solve this issue, perform solution 1 first. If solution 1 doesn’t work, perform solution 2.


Solution 1

 

  1. Run # hastop –local to freeze Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) clusters.

 

  1. Run the following commands to clean up the online device tree:
     

# mv /etc/vx/disk.info /etc/vx/old_disk.info


# mv /etc/vx/array.info /etc/vx/old_array.info


# vxconfigd –k           


Solution 2


Run the following commands to clean up the offline device tree:
 


# mv /etc/vx/array.info /etc/vx/old_array.info


# mv /etc/vx/disk.info /etc/vx/old_disk.info
 

# reboot -- -r
