Description:

The vxassist maxgrow command determines the maximum size to which a volume can grow. If the volume has a DCM plex attached, vxassist calculates the DCM region size required to accommodate the increased volume length. If this region size is greater than the current region size, this message appears.

Content:
  1. Remove DCMs from the volume and add them back without specifying a loglen attribute to get the default (recommended) size.
     
  2. Re-issue the vxassist maxgrow command to find out how large the volume can be grown to with the new DCM size.
