  1. Check that vxconfigd is running on all nodes.
  2. Do one of the following:

    Start vxconfigd on the nodes that are not running it. 

    If vxconfigd is running on all nodes, enter vxconfigd -k on the node mentioned in the error message. This command kills the current vxconfigd process and starts a new one.
