Description:

Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) generates array.info file internally to save information about enclosures, which is not supposed to be edited manually. If the content and format of the file are found inconsistent, VxVM resets the enclosure attributes for these arrays to the default values.

 

This message is displayed when you initiate device discovery by using vxdisk scandisks or change the device naming scheme with the vxddladm command.
