To remove a cache object, do one of the following:
 
  • Remove the subcache objects and cache object using a single command. Enter:

    vxedit -g dg rm sosnap_1 sosnap_2...sosnap_N cacheobj

    where:

    sosnap_1... sosnap_N are all the subcache objects created from the cache object.

    cacheobj is the cache object.
     
  • Run the remove (rm) command for every subcache object, then remove the cache object.
