Description:

This message is displayed when the sum of the vxdisksetup command privoffset and privlen values (or the sum of the puboffset and publen values) exceeds the total disk sector count.
 

This message can appear for all disk formats including cdsdisk, sliced, or simple.

Make sure that the specified parameters meet the following conditions:
 

  • privoffset + privlen <= total disk sector count
     
  • puboffset + publen <= total disk sector count


To determine the total disk sector count, run the prtvtoc command on the corresponding disk. In the following example, the total disk sector count is 4189440.
