Description:

This message is displayed when the vxevac utility is used to remove volumes from the disk.  It indicates that the given disk does not belong to any Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) volumes in the disk group.

To solve this issue, make sure that you provide the correct disk name which belongs to some volume in the diskgroup.
