Description:

The message is displayed when you provide a wrong disk media name from which Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) cannot resolve the appropriate disk access name.

 

Disk media name is the name of a disk in a VxVM disk group like rootdisk_1. Disk access name is an OS-based name such as c#t#d#.
