Message:
Config backup for diskgroup $ccd_dg_nameorid not found
Description:

The message is displayed when the backup directory specified by the vxconfigrestore command with –l option is incorrect.

When conducting the backup of disk group, the vxconfigbackup command creates a directory at the specified backup directory (/etc/vx/cbr/bk in case of default), to hold the backup files of the disk group.

For restoring the disk group from the backup stored at backup directory, the  -l option of  the vxconfigrestore command specifies the path of backup directory, containing the directory created by the vxconfigbackup utility, as input. In case any incorrect backup directory is mentioned with -l option, the vxconfigrestore utility exits giving above mentioned error.
