| Description: | Dynamic Multi-pathing (DMP) detects intermittently failing paths, and prevents I/O requests from being sent on them. The tunable dmp_path_age defines the length of time (in seconds) that the path must stay healthy. The default is 60 seconds. If the state of the path changes from enabled to disabled within the defined time period, DMP marks the path as intermittently failing and does not re-enable the path for I/O until the time period elapses.
To set the dmp_path_age value, use the following syntax. This example sets the value to 40 seconds. |
