Possible causes

This warning message is typically seen when disks that are configured under the selected VMDg resource are not part of any Hitachi device group.

This message may mean one of the following:
 

    The volumes in the disk group pointed to by the VMDg resource are not configured for replication.
    The wizard was unable to discover the replication configuration for the disks pointed to by the VMDg resource due to a mismatch in RAID Manager versions.

 

Solution

The following actions may apply:
 

    If you really do not want the volumes to be replicated, ignore this message and click Next.
    Otherwise, verify if the disks are configured for replication. If not, configure replication for the respective disks and then click Next.
    Check for a mismatch in RAID Manager versions.
