Error Code details
V-72-13-205
Severity: Error
Component: Product Installer for Windows
Message:
The Veritas High Availability Engine (HAD) service is not running on one or more cluster nodes. The wizard cannot reset the cluster to use VCS authentication. Please verify that the HAD service is running on all cluster nodes and then click Next.
Description:

This error occurs when you use the Rolling Upgrade wizard to perform a rolling upgrade on single sign-on cluster nodes.

To perform a rolling upgrade, the cluster must be configured to use Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) authentication. After you enter the cluster details on the Cluster Details panel, the wizard identifies the cluster that you want to upgrade. When the upgrade completes, the wizard reconfigures the cluster for single sign-on authentication.

If the Veritas High Availability Engine (HAD) is not running on one or more cluster nodes, the wizard cannot reset the cluster to use VCS authentication and cannot proceed with the upgrade.

Verify that the HAD service is running on all cluster nodes. If the HAD service is not running on a cluster node, start the service on that node. Type the following at the command prompt:

C:\> hastart

After you verify that the HAD service is running on all nodes, click Next on the Cluster Details panel of the Rolling Upgrade wizard to proceed with the upgrade.
