Message:
Failed to write disk signature on Harddisk%1 (No Signature).
Description:

This message displays when the attempt to write the disk signature fails. The causes of this error include:
 

  • The system cannot find the Device Name or Device Interface.
     
  • The device being written to is not a disk.
     
  • The system fails to form a unique Master Boot Record (MBR) signature.
