• Status code V-76-58631-24 is reported by Veritas Enterprise Administrator (VEA)
   
• ERROR: "This partition was created but the volume never arrived, it may arrive later, but for now the partition is unusable"
   

Description
 

This message appears if the host bus adapter (HBA) topology has been incorrectly configured. If Veritas multipathing drivers are present, set the HBA topology to 1. This recommendation assumes that the HBA topology options are the following:

0 = Loop

1 = F_Port (Point-to-point) Fabric

2 = Loop then F_Port (Point-to-point)

3 = F_Port (Point-to-point) then Loop

The error may occur if the configuration does not match the Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) for Veritas Storage Foundation for Windows. Review the HCL to verify that the drivers and hardware are compatible with Veritas Storage Foundation for Windows:
