Note: This solution requires you to make changes to the registry. Be careful when you modify the registry. Any incorrect changes may create serious problems.

 

To resolve this issue:

  1. Make sure that the vmstat.dll module is in the %vmpath%\providers folder.
     
  2. In the registry editor, navigate to the following registry subtree: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\vxio\Performance.
     
  3. In the Performance subkey, delete the following values, if they exist:

    •    First Counter
    •    First Help
    •    Last Counter
    •    Last Help
     
  4. Restart the vxsvc service or restart the computer.
