Possible causes

A disk needed to perform a request or task is missing or detached. The disk is represented in the disk group configuration, but Windows doesn't see the corresponding physical disk or the physical disk is returning I/O errors..

  • Solution

    Check for disk, HBA, or array hardware problems. Be sure the disk wasn't explicitly detached using the CLI. May need to perform the Reactivate Disk command after the physical disk arrives in Windows in order to resynch the volumes on it.
