To solve the problem:

  1. Check if the VxFS file system is mounted. Enter the following commands:

For AIX:
 

# mount | grep vxfs


For Solaris, Linux, and HP-UX:
 

# mount -v | grep vxfs

  1. Unmount the non-system files on the VxFS file system, which is not under the control of Veritas Cluster Server (VCS).

# umount /mount_point
