CPI: The free swap space on local system <system name> is <MB> MB. It is recommended to setup minimal 256 MB of free swap space to successfully run the installer program.
Description:

The SF/HA 5.1SP1 installer (CPI) on AIX exits with an error message reporting that there is not enough free swap space on the local system.

Permanent solution

Download the Symantec P-Patch that fixes the issue. Go to:

Manual workaround

  1. Determine the paging space size for the first logical volume. Enter:

    lsps -a
     
  2. Increase the paging space size.
