Description:

Before you upgrade a product that includes Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), such as Storage Foundation and High Availability, make sure that: 
 

  • The VCS configuration files types.cf and main.cf are in the directory  /etc/VRTSvcs/conf/config/.
     
  • VCS can start properly with using the configuration files.
     

The message is displayed because the configuration files are not available, or that they did not pass the verification with the command:
 

/opt/VRTS/bin/hacf -verify /etc/VRTSvcs/conf/config
