Installation Instructions:

Option A - Leaving VProWebLogic resources online:
1. haconf -dump -makero 
2. hastop -all -force (stops VCS but leaves all applications up) 
3. On each node in the cluster: 
        Save a copy of the current monitor script in $VCS_HOME/bin/VProWebLogic
        Replace $VCS_HOME/bin/VProWebLogic/monitor with the new version 
4. restart VCS on all of the nodes.
 
Option B - offlining all VProWebLogic resources:
On each node in the cluster:
1. Bring all resources of type VProWebLogic offline 
2. Stop the VProWebLogic agent (haagent -stop VProWebLogic -sys <localVCS_NodeName>) 
3. Save a copy of the current monitor script in $VCS_HOME/bin/VProWebLogic
4. Replace $VCS_HOME/bin/VProWebLogic/monitor with the new version 
5. Start the VProWebLogic agent (haagent -start VProWebLogic -sys <localVCS_NodeName>) 
6. Online the VProWebLogic resources, as desired
 

Deinstallation Instructions:

Repeat the above procedure to replace the new version with the saved version.
