This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

Patch ID: 7.1.1_HF2

* 3891642 (Tracking ID: 3891640)

SYMPTOM:
*VRA agent on Java 6 for Windows server.

DESCRIPTION:
*Support for VRA agent on Java 6 for Windows server 32 bit and 64 bit.

RESOLUTION:
*Veritas has modified the code to resolve these issues.



INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
Before Installing the agent:
1.On the VRA server, go to Configuration ->    Distributed Collection ->    Agents
2.Download the Agent for Unix.
3.Within the folder, go to Webapps ->    Agent ->    WEB-INF ->    classes ->    conf
4.Open the install.properties file.
5.Make sure the public.key there matches the one in the installer we've provided 100%.
6.If not, copy the public.key string from the VRA server and paste in the install.properties file on the installer we have provided.

Agent Installation:
1.Copy the compressed agent file onto the target server
2.Extract the agent files into the designated directory on the target server
  a.On Windows, unzip the .zip file.
  b.On UNIX/Linux, extract the files from the .tar file.
3.Run the setup script:
  a.On Windows, as Local Administrator, execute setup.bat.
  b.On UNIX/Linux, as root, execute ./setup.sh.
4.Follow the installation instructions as described in "VRA Deployment Guide".


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
1.Run the uninstall script
  a.On Windows, as Local Administrator, execute uninstall.bat.
  b.On UNIX/Linux, as root, execute ./uninstall.sh.
2.Delete remaining directory.
