DETAILS OF INCIDENTS FIXED BY THE PATCH

This patch fixes the following incidents:

* 3913127 (Tracking ID: 3917667)

SYMPTOM:
Manually running /opt/VRTSsfmh/bin/hbaapp shows very large disk capacity.

DESCRIPTION:
On Linux MHs, if disks having 2TB or more capacity then you may not
see disks sizes in VIOM GUI.

RESOLUTION:
Fixed the code to discover sizes of large disks.

* 3916828 (Tracking ID: 3917250)

SYMPTOM:
xprtld crashes and MH got disconnected from VIOM server randomly.

DESCRIPTION:
xprtld crashes due to log file rolling is not happening properly
and due to this MH 
got disconnected from VIOM server.

RESOLUTION:
Modified code for handling xprtld logs rolling properly.

* 3917740 (Tracking ID: 3920240)

SYMPTOM:
Java run time error occurs in hs_err_pidxxxxxxx.log.

DESCRIPTION:
VOM UI process crash with producing core dump and user will not abe
able to 
login through UI.

RESOLUTION:
Fixed the authentication issue.

* 3925573 (Tracking ID: 3922262)

SYMPTOM:
User unable to run vomgather tool on CMS CFS HA setup.

DESCRIPTION:
User is not able to run vomgather tool on CMS CFS HA setup.

RESOLUTION:
Fixed the vomgahter tool to handle data collection on CMS CFA HA setup.

* 3927189 (Tracking ID: 3927186)

SYMPTOM:
when user runs uptime report and export in CSV file. The overall percentage for 
service gruop online offline is more than 100%

DESCRIPTION:
When user export the uptime report in CSV file and the overall sum of percentage 
for service group online offline is more that 100%.

RESOLUTION:
Fixed the code for service group online and offline calculation.

SYMPTOM:
Cannot create rule to monitor FS capacity - Receiving "JSON response is
invalid" while configuring alerts/thresholds

DESCRIPTION:
Cannot create rule to monitor FS capacity - Receiving "JSON
response is invalid" while configuring alerts/thresholds

RESOLUTION:
Issue has been fixed by handling JSON output.

* 3932981 (Tracking ID: 3932937)

SYMPTOM:
These are new enhancements in product.

DESCRIPTION:
These are new enhancements in product. 
- Users can now create User Profiles by providing Hosts credentials and use
these profiles to add Agentless Hosts in VIOM Management Server.

- Users have choice to provide SSH ports as per their environment while
configuring Agentless Hosts in VIOM Management Server.

RESOLUTION:

* 3925579 (Tracking ID: 3927297)

SYMPTOM:
MSFoC clusters not discovered/reporting with MH Version 7.3.0.0

DESCRIPTION:
After upgrading VIOM CMS to 7.3, MSFoC clusters may not be discovered.

RESOLUTION:
MSFoC discovery issue fixed at MHs.


INSTALLING THE PATCH

IMPORTANT NOTE : Please take a backup of the database using the instructions given in the Admin guide before installing this Hotfix.

This Hotfix is applicable for VOM 7.3 Managed Hosts as well as VOM 7.3 Management Server.


1. Download the file vom-7.3.0.200.sfa
2. Launch a browser and login to the VIOM management server.
3. Navigate to Settings ->                  Deployment Icon.
4. Upload the Hotfix to the VIOM CMS using the "Upload Solutions" button.
   The Hotfix vom-7.3.0.200 should be visible in the Hot Fixes tree node.
5. Please install this Hotfix on CS using the following instructions:
    - Go to Settings ->                 Deployment ->                 Hot Fixes ->                 Veritas Infoscale Operations Manager Managed Host.
    - Click on Hot Fixes Tab. Click on Applicable Hosts Tab.
    - Right click on CS Name and click on Install.


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
Un-installation and rollback of this Hotfix is supported only on Solaris 11 and AIX platforms.
