Installation Instructions:

on HP-UX DBED 3.5 or DBED/AC 3.5 stacks, please refer to their
corresponding README's for complete install/uninstall instructions.

1. Login as root.

2. Check if the VRTSodm package is installed on the system.

	 # swlist | grep odm

	VRTSodm 3.5-ga16       VERITAS Oracle Disk Manager

3. Run swinstall to install the patch:

	 # swinstall -x mount_all_filesystems=false \
	  -s <path> PVKL_03845

where <path> is the location of the depot for PVKL_03845.
Note that <path> (patch depot) should be registered using
swreg. Use the following command to register the patch depot.

	# swreg -l depot <path>

4. Check if the patch is applied.

	 # swlist -v PVKL_03845

	 PVKL_03845    1.0            PVKL_03845 3.5-ga16 ODM 3.5 Patch 09

1. Check if the patch is installed on the system.

	# swlist | grep PVKL_03845

2. Run swremove command to remove the patch.

	# swremove -x mount_all_filesystems=false PVKL_03845

3. Check if the patch is removed from the system.

	 # swlist | grep PVKL_03845

The patch shouldn't be shown.
