DESCRIPTION:
VIOM GUI operation "Resize Volume" fails on Windows InfoScale Node when try to resize VVR volume.

RESOLUTION:
Removed the decimal from VVR volume size and round off.

DESCRIPTION:

RESOLUTION:
Unsetting publisher once patch is installed.

In Deployment, the patch shows as Not Installed though it is successfully installed.

DESCRIPTION:
Sometimes, you may see that VIOM patch installation is successful but when checking in Deployment, the patch shows as Not Installed and hence unable to apply the patch to other MH hosts.

Handled the Json exception.

VCS Cluster ADMIN_WAIT fault does not get clear.

On Linux, you see multiple perl processes after NFS mount hang.

On Linux servers, you may see that multiple perl processes are spanned for the same task.

If you are using third party certificates for Web Server then after VIOM patch installation you may observe that those certificates are not in use. Web Server has picked default certificates.

RESOLUTION:
Taking backup of existing keystore and restoring after patch upgrade.

Unable to set monitoring threshold for RVG.

DESCRIPTION:
The option to monitor replication for a RVG does not list the RVG name and hence we cannot modify the thresholds.

RESOLUTION:
GET API for monitor replication was unable to fetch RVG links due to incorrected payload format. Changed payload format and respective changes to handle payload in API.

SYMPTOM:
Simplifying the license meter calculation based on the NCORE calculation.

DESCRIPTION:
A new license meter(PER CORE PLUS) has been introduced, to simplify License Calculation of InfoScale.
Earlier, InfoScale used to charge customers based on the core-to-license and Ncore values. For license deployed only on virtual machine the core-to-license was minimum of #cores of virtual-server and sum of VCPUS of virtual machines on which same product was installed. 
This has been simplified in new meter, now cores of the machines(be it physical or virtual) are simply considered as NCORE. There is no minimum of cores calculation between VCPUS and virtual-server. In VIOM GUI (Licensing->Deployment Details'), you can refer to 'NCore to license' values.

RESOLUTION:
Core of the machines are considered as NCORE. Dependency on virtualization server's core is removed while calculating NCORE in InfoScale Licensing.

The issue was due to Infoscale command taking more time to complete. As a fix, we 
are not executing the command at the time of add host. We have also increased 
command execution interval from 3 hours to 12 hours.

INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
IMPORTANT NOTE : Please take a backup of the database using the instructions given in the Installation and Configuration guide before installing this Hotfix.

This Hotfix is applicable for VOM 7.4 Managed Hosts as well as VOM 7.4 Management Server.


1. Download the file vom-7.4.0.800.sfa
2. Launch a browser and login to the VIOM management server.
3. Navigate to Settings ->  Deployment Icon.
4. Upload the Hotfix to the VIOM CMS using the "Upload Solutions" button.
   The Hotfix vom-7.4.0.800 should be visible in the Hot Fixes tree node.
5. Please install this Hotfix on CS using the following instructions:
    - Go to Settings ->  Deployment ->  Hot Fixes ->  Veritas Infoscale Operations Manager Managed Host.
    - Click on Hot Fixes Tab. Click on Applicable Hosts Tab.
    - Right click on CS Name and click on Install.


REMOVING THE PATCH
