The startup message "Starting Veritas Enterprise Administrator Service (vxsvc)" is printed twice in /etc/rc.log. 
1097838:
Downloading of plug-in components fails in VEA java GUI and the user is unable to create rules for action agent.
1132700:
The Veritas Enterprise Administrator Service(vxsvc) is vulnerable to heap overflow. 
When it happens, vxsvc may start crashing unexpectedly or starts consuming  more CPU cycles. 
1169667:

"Incomplete details specified for setting SNMP Trap. Please fill all empty fields."

An error message "Grid could not pull files" is displayed while

Install/Uninstall Instructions:
Apply this rolling patch only on hosts where Storage Foundation 5.0 & 5.0MP1 has already been
installed. 

After untaring the tarball, use the install_vea_rp2 script which will upgrade all the packages in order.
