After you download the CPI patch, unzip the file as follows: - gunzip -c ccs-aix-5.0MP1CPIHF1-patches.tar.gz | tar -xf - (outcome of the above command will be patches/5.0MP1_CPI_Support_AIX_6_1.pl and patches/installccstor) For example: cd /tmp/ gunzip -c ccs-aix-5.0MP1CPIHF1-patches.tar.gz | tar -xf - ls patches 5.0MP1_CPI_Support_AIX_6_1.pl installccstor 2. Copy the CommandCentral Storage 5.0MP1 kit to the local host. For example: /tmp/ccs_50mp1/ 3. In the CommandCentral Storage 5.0MP1 kit, go to the unix directory. 4. In the unix directory, take a backup of installccstor. cp /tmp/ccs_50mp1/unix/installccstor /tmp/backup/installccstor.bk 5. Replace the installccstor script in the kit with the installccstor script that unzipped from the CPI patch in step 1. For example: cp /tmp/installccstor /tmp/ccs_50mp1/unix/ 6. In the install image, from the unix directory, run the following command: ./installccstor -require <absolute path of CPI patch> For example: ./installccstor -require /tmp/5.0MP1_CPI_Support_AIX_6_1.pl 7.
