Instructions to apply the hotfix:
================================================================================================================
Deploying HF on Windows Management Server:
==========================================
(The following assumes that CommandCentral has been installed on Windows 32-bit OS host in default installation directory)
1. Download the hotfix ("ccs-HF511001910170.tar.gz") to a temporary location say - "C:\Temp".
2. After extracting the hotfix , below two files will be available.
    - patches
    - README.txt
3. To apply the hotfix on MS, do the following:
   - Type the following command to change to the HAL bin directory:
     cd C:\Program Files\VERITAS\CommandCentral Storage\HAL\bin
   - Type the following command to deploy the hotfix on MS :
     perl LocalUpgrade.pl C:\Temp\patches\VRTSccs-F511001910170.tar.gz
4. After you deploy the hotfix, check the installation logs as follows:
   - Go to CommandCentral Storage Data directory.
     C:\Program Files\VERITAS\CommandCentral Storage Data\Data\HAL\maint\VRTSccs-F511001910170\<time_stamp>\output
   - Check if there are any errors in the stderr.txt file.
   - Check the detailed logs of hotfix application in the stdout.txt file.
5. Check the hotfix details in "cc_version.txt" file -
    - Open "cc_version.txt" file present in below location.     
      cd C:\Program Files\VERITAS\CommandCentral Storage\Version
    - Check the FIXID and other details. For example:
       FIXID=F511001910170
       DATE=Wed Nov 13 18:20:51 2009
       DESCRIPTION=5.1.1 SCM Mandatory HF
Deploying HF on Solaris Management Server:

(The following assumes that CommandCentral has been installed in the default installation directory)
1. Download the hotfix ("ccs-HF511001910170.tar.gz") to a temporary location say - "/tmp".
