--------------------------------------------
Etrack Incident: 1958244
Case ID: 410-663-158

Symptom-Defect Description-Resolution (SDR) of fixed Symantec incidents
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Symantec Incident: 1958244

Symptom:
The notifier cannot get the local IP address while sending the SNMP trap when the underlying interface is IPMP.

Defect description:
While sending the SNMP trap, the notifier finds out the local IP
address. If multiple interfaces are combined to get the IPMP interface and if one such interface fails, then the notifier does not get the IPs from the remaining interfaces of that IPMP.

Resolution:
The notifier now queries the remaining interfaces for the IP address.
