1. Overview

This hotfix resolves the following problem:

  * Disks in IBM DS8000 arrays are disappeared after installing SFW 5.1 SP1 with DMP DSM.

Details: VIBMAADS DMP DSM tries to claim the array as ALUA array if VIBMAADS is detecting
ALUA information from the disk. If VIBMAADS fails to claim ALUA due to DMP DSM claim routines,
MS MPIO will not create the disk because there is no DSM claiming the disk.

2. Resolution

   * If one of the routine to claim ALUA array is failing, DMP DSM should go back and claim the IBM
DS8000 disks the same way that IBM DS800 has been supported in the previous release of DMP DSM.
