I. OVERVIEW:
------------
The Veritas Storage Foundation Scalable File Server (now called Symantec FileStore) provides a scalable clustered storage solution. This document provides release information for the patch.

II. UPGRADE PROCEDURE:
----------------------
After you have installed or synchronized a new SFS patch into your cluster, the list of available commands may change. Please login again to the CLI to access the updated features. Because this is a phased upgrade process, please bring down the services manually, then start with the patch installation. After you apply this patch, you cannot uninstall it.

To install the patch:
1. Login as master:
   su - master
2. Start the patch install:
   upgrade patch install <URL>

2045630, 2044989 After deleting a CIFS normal share, users can still read and write the share.
2081420, 2079635 After a share is deleted on the FileStore server, the share still exists on the ESX NFS client.
2088547, 2088084 homedir link abnormal which caused XP reboot.
2085972, 2090222 (Symantec Escalation: 412-409-798) The Storage> fs grow command increases the volume to 1TB, but it does not increase the file system to 1TB.
2096143, 2094887 Allow different subnet virtual IP and physical IP on the same Ethernet interface card.
2181486, 2100929 PXE boot does not load device drivers (added from the FileStore Driver Update Disk) on all nodes in a cluster.
2102816  Net commands on the 2008 AD server do not recognize the -s <hostname> option.
2104676  When the homedir quota is activated, a FileStore node cannot mount a file system.
2119669, 2107428 If two CIFS shares have corresponding files systems that share the same virtual IP address, deleting one of the CIFs share halts the other share.

Symptom:
With Microsoft Windows 7, you cannot access a CIFS shared file system after the share is split. 

Description:
In Microsoft Windows 7, if you access a CIFS share and split the share. You cannot access the share again because Windows 7 caches the out-of-date access information.

Workaround:
Logout of Windows 7, then log back in to fix the issue.
