Install and Uninstall Instructions
----------------------------------
1.Installing the VRTSdbcom 5.0 MP2RP3P1 patches:

a) VRTSdbed 5.0.00.01-GA and VRTSdbcom 5.0.00.00-GA must be installed before applying these patches.

b) To verify the VERITAS dbed, dbcom installed on the machine, enter:

	# swlist -l product | egrep -i 'VRTSdbed'
	
	VRTSdbed 5.0.00.01-GA   Veritas Storage Foundation for Oracle by Symantec

	#  swlist -l product | egrep -i 'VRTSdbcom'

	VRTSdbcom 5.0.00.00-GA   Veritas Storage Foundation for Database Common Utilities from Symantec

c) All prerequisite/corequisite patches have to be installed before installing this patch.

d)To install the patches, enter the following command:

	# swinstall -s <patch_directory> PHCO_41798

e) To verify this patch installed on the machine, enter:

	# swlist -l product | egrep -i 'PHCO_41798'

	PHCO_41798    1.0    VRTS 5.0 MP2RP3P1 VRTSdbcom Command Patch

2.Removing patches:

a)To remove these patches, enter the following command:

	# swremove PHCO_41798
