This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

Patch ID: HF040010970-02

* 2394583 (Tracking ID: 2388553)

SYMPTOM:
Storage provisioning is not enabled for HP hosts which have Storage Foundations
at version 4.1MP2RP. Such hosts will not be seen in the storage template creation
wizard even though they have vxvm volumes. Such hosts will also not be listed
while provisioning storage using this add-on.

DESCRIPTION:
Storage provisioning add-on requires SF to be at version 4.1MP2 or greater.
If a HP-UX host has SF 4.1MP2 without any SF RPs over it then the SF version is reported
correctly by VOM. But if there is a RP installed over 4.1MP2 e.g. 4.1MP2RP9 then VOM incorrectly 
reports the SF version as 4.1 instead of 4.1MP2.
As a result storage provisioning does not work on such hosts.

RESOLUTION:
HF HF040010970-02 resolves the issue by correctly reporting SF version on HP-UX

INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
This hotfix is applicable for HP-UX Managed hosts. 
1. Download the file "HF040010970-02.sfa".
2. Launch a browser and login to the VOM management server.
3. Navigate to Settings ->  Deployment Management tab.
4. Upload the add-on to the VOM CMS using the "upload" button.The HF HF040010970-02 should be  visible in the table below.
5. Select the install option to deploy this HF on applicable hosts.


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
1. Launch a browser and login to the VOM management server.
2. Navigate to Settings ->  Deployment Management tab.
3. Select the add-on and use the uninstall option to uninstall the HF from all hosts.
