This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

SYMPTOM:
VOM 3.1 missing shared diskgroup "FileSystem" information after VCS Cluster stop/start
 

DESCRIPTION:
HF030183000-09.sfa is applicable for VOM 3.1SP1 for central server and managed host.


HF HF030183000-09 addresses the following issue:
When diskgroups created over shared storage are moved across cluster nodes, ensure that we dont delete the data that is relevant to the volumes and volume relations like disk to volume mapping.


RESOLUTION:
In case the diskgroup is deported, hold back the objects for volumes and volume and disk mapping for all such volumes contained in the deported diskgroup.


INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
This hotfix is applicable for VOM Central Server. 
It has to be installed on the VOM CMS. 

1. Download the file "HF030183000-09.sfa".
2. Launch a browser and login to the VOM management server.
3. Navigate to Settings -> Deployment Management tab.
4. Upload the add-on to the VOM CMS using the "upload" button.
   The HF HF030183000-09 should be  visible in the table below.
5. Select the HF and install it.


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
1. Launch a browser and login to the VOM management server.
2. Navigate to Settings -> Deployment Management tab.
3. Select the add-on. This will take you to the page which shows the status of the HF on all hosts.
Uninstall it from the VOM CS host.
