INCIDENTS FIXED BY THE PATCH

This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

Etrack Incidents: 2493357

SYMPTOM:
Unable to install the solution (CS+MH) with the CS in HA mode

DESCRIPTION:
The issue was seen while installing a solution having check for CS in HA mode.            
This was because of the missing brackets in the query for filtering the central 
server host.

RESOLUTION:
Adding the missing brackets in the query resolves the problem.

INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
This hotfix is applicable for VOM Central Server with HA. 

1. Download the file "HF040010970-10.sfa".
2. Launch a browser and login to the VOM management server.
3. Navigate to Settings ->  Deployment Management tab.
4. Upload the add-on to the VOM CMS using the "upload" button.
   The HF HF040010970-10 should be visible in the table below.
5. HF installation instruction for VOM CMS that has HA setup:

       For VOM CMS that has HA setup, the HF HF040010970-10 needs to be installed from the Deployment Management tab. This will install the HF on active and non-active nodes.

          This HF install needs web server restart which needs to be done manually. This will force the user to log off from the VOM GUI. You have to login again after the installation.

Refer Special Instructions section to restart the web server


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
1. Launch a browser and login to the VOM management server.
2. Navigate to Settings ->  Deployment Management tab.
3. Remove instruction for VOM CMS that has HA setup:
       For VOM CMS that has HA setup, the HF needs to be uninstalled first on the active node, and then uninstall HF on the non-active node.
          Click on the HF or add-on and it takes you to the Deployment Summary Page.
        Select the active node and uninstall the HF.
        Once the un-installation on active node is completed, navigate to the same page to select the non-active node and uninstall the HF.
