This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

SYMPTOM:
Unallocated Size field is reporting 0 for many disks

DESCRIPTION:
HF040010970-15.sfa is applicable for VOM 4.0 and VOM 4.0RU1 for central server and managed host.


HF040010970-15 addresses the following issue:
Report correct unallocated size for disk(s) in cases that the disk is part of dg which is deported or not present on the host.

RESOLUTION:
Report correct unallocated size for disk(s) in cases that the disk is part of dg which is deported or not present on the host.


INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
This hotfix is applicable for VOM Central Server and VOM managed hosts.
It has to be installed on the VOM CMS. 

1. Download the file "HF040010970-15.sfa".
2. Launch a browser and login to the VOM management server.
3. Navigate to Settings -> Deployment Management tab.
4. Upload the add-on to the VOM CMS using the "upload" button.
   The HF HF040010970-15 should be visible in the table below.
5. Select the HF and install it.


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
1. Launch a browser and login to the VOM management server.
2. Navigate to Settings -> Deployment Management tab.
3. Select the add-on. This will take you to the page which shows the status of the HF on all hosts.
Uninstall it from the VOM CS host.
