A - Overview of the HotFix

Always use this CPI Patch when you want to install Command Central Storage 5.2 Managed Host on AIX 7.1

Supported operating systems include:

  - AIX 7.1


B - Deploying the Patch on AIX 7.1
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Copy hotfix tarball to a temporary location like /tmp

2. After extracting it, the below two files will be available.
    - patch.pl
    - README  (this file)

3. Use the patch as below while installing Command Central Storage 5.2 Managed Host on AIX 7.1:

   ./installccsmh `hostname` -require /tmp/patch.pl
