This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

SYMPTOM:
The report "Thin Provisioned LUNs" does not show all the thin Luns
consumed by the host

DESCRIPTION:
HF HF040010970-19.sfa is applicable for VOM 4.0 CMS (Linux, Solaris
and Windows)
HF HF040010970-19 addresses the following issue:
Fixes the report "Thin Provisioned LUNs" to show all the thin Luns
used across the entire domain or scoped to a BE

RESOLUTION:
HF HF040010970-19.sfa has the fixed report to show Thin Luns
correctly in the enterprise with the report "Thin Provisioned LUNs"


INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
This hotfix is applicable for VOM CMS

1. Download the file "HF040010970-19.sfa".
2. Launch a browser and login to the VOM (CMS) management server.
3. Navigate to Settings ->  Deployment Management tab.
4. Upload the add-on to the VOM CMS using the "upload" button.
The HF HF040010970-19 should be visible in the table below.
5. HF install instructions
- In the Deployment Management page, click on the HF HF040010970-19 and it
will take you to the Deployment Summary page. Select the CMS host
that should be listed and click on the Install button.
6. No special instructions required if the CMS is in High-Availability
configuration. Just select the HF and install

Note: This HF install restarts web server hence it forces the user to log
off the VOM UI. User will have to login the VOM UI after the
HF is installed.


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
1. Launch a browser and login to the VOM management server.
2. Navigate to Settings ->  Deployment Management tab.
3. Remove instruction for HF
- In the Deployment Management page, click on the HF HF040010970-19 and it
will take you to the Deployment Summary page. Select the CMS
on which the status shown is "Enabled" (HF installed) and click on
Uninstall button.
This hotfix is applicable for VOM CMS

Note: This HF uninstall restarts web server hence it forces the user to log
off the VOM UI. User will have to login the VOM UI after the
HF is uninstalled.
