INCIDENTS FIXED BY THE PATCH

This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

SYMPTOM:
Unable to discover a remote Symmetrix array because of xprtlc timeout

DESCRIPTION:
HF HF040015980-07.sfa is applicable for VOM 4.0RU1 across all control
hosts platform.
HF HF040015980-07 addresses the following issue:
Unable to discover a remote Symmetrix array because of xprtlc timeout

RESOLUTION:
HF HF040015980-07.sfa has the fixed report to add timeout while
pushing the cli script and executing it.


INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
This hotfix is applicable for VOM Control hosts discovering difeerent enclosures configured through Storage Insight Add-on.
It has to be installed on the VOM control hosts. 
1. Download the file "HF040015980-07.sfa".
2. Launch a browser and login to the VOM management server.
3. Navigate to Settings ->  Deployment Management tab.
4. Upload the add-on to the VOM CMS using the "upload" button.
-The HF HF040015980-07 should be  visible in the table below.
5. HF install instruction for VOM CMS  setup:
     - Select the HF and install it.
6. HF install instruction for VOM Managed hosts:
   - In the Deployment Management page, click on the HF HF040015980-07 and it will take you to the Deployment Summary page. Select the managed host on which you want to apply the HF and install HF.


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
1. Launch a browser and login to the VOM management server.
2. Navigate to Settings ->  Deployment Management tab.
3. click on HF HF040015980-07
-Select VOM Managed host or CMS and uninstall the HF.
