This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

* 2047780 (Tracking ID: 1951332)

SYMPTOM:
In a multi-volume file system, the set usage threshold 
operation for a single volume calculates the incorrect usage
threshold value.

DESCRIPTION:
While assigning a usage threshold to an individual volume, 
the total volume system size should be considered for 
calculating the threshold to be set. The threshold value is 
calculated incorrectly because instead of the total volume 
size, the file system size is considered that includes the 
size of other volumes in the volume set.

RESOLUTION:
The code has been modified to consider the total volume size
instead of the file system size for calculating the usage 
threshold of a single volume.


INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
install the FSPRO 5.0.1-11.31 patch:

a) To install this patch on a CVM cluster, install it one system at a time so that all the nodes are not brought down
 simultaneously.

b) The FSPRO 11.31 pkg with revision 5.0.31.5 must be installed before applying the patch.

c) To verify the VERITAS file system level, execute:

     # swlist -l product | egrep -i "VRTSfspro"

e) To install the patch, execute the following command:

# swinstall -x autoreboot=true -s <patch_directory>   PHCO_42794

If the patch is not registered, you can register it using the following command:

# swreg -l depot <patch_directory> 

The <patch_directory>   is the absolute path where the patch resides.


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
To remove the FSPRO 5.0.1-11.31 patch:

a) Execute the following command:

# swremove -x autoreboot=true PHCO_42794
