Symptoms
--------
   * Error scanning Enterprise Core Component (ECC) 6

     Scanning ECC 6 with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) fails with a connection
     error.

   * NetApp scans may fail

     If NetApp does not support Z-Kit Application Program Interface (ZAPI)
     API version 1.12 or later, NetApp scans fail.

   * DRA does not show Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) disks
     with the ORCL prefix
     
     DRA does not show Oracle ASM disks with the ORCL prefix.
     
   * Directory structure comparison may fail

     When you use the Host Comparison section of the Expansion Packages to
     compare directories, some differences may not be displayed


Description
-----------
This document provides important information about the patch to resolve
the DRA issues listed above.


Resolution
----------
To ensure that the issues above are not encountered, you must install
patch DRA_6.0.0_HF2.exe.


INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
To install the patch:

   1. Verify the current DRA build number. On the right side of the main
      DRA window, click About. The DRA 6.0 HF1 build number is 30963.

      Note: After you install the patch, you will check the build number
      again to verify that DRA has been updated.

   2. Download patch DRA_6.0.0_HF2.exe.

   3. Logout of DRA.

   4. On the computer running DRA, close the Web browser and stop the DRA
      application.

   5. On the DRA server, stop the Web server software. Make sure you have
      administrator privileges and enter:

      # net stop tomcat6

   6. Locate the DRA folder. By default, it is on the path:

      C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\webapps\

   7. Make a copy of the DRA folder and store it in another location. The
      patch updates files in this folder. If you need to revert to the
      unpatched version of DRA, you need the original folder.

   8. Go to the folder where you downloaded the patch. Find
      DRA_6.0.0_HF2.exe and double-click it.

   9. Follow the steps in the wizard to install the patch.

  10. After the patch is installed, start tomcat6. Enter:

      # net start tomcat6

  11. Start your Web browser and DRA.

  12. Login to DRA.

  13. Verify that the build number has changed. On the DRA main screen,
      click About. The build number should now be 31318.


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
Note: Symantec strongly recommends that you install the patch. However, if
you need to revert to the unpatched version of DRA 6.0, do the following:

   1. Logout of DRA.

   2. On the computer running DRA, close the Web browser and stop the DRA
      application.

   3. On the DRA Server, stop the Web server software. Make sure you have
      administrator privileges and enter:

      # net stop tomcat6

   4. Locate the DRA folder. By default, it is on the path:

      C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\webapps\

   5. Rename the DRA folder. For example, you could name it DRA_patched.

   6. Locate the original (unpatched) DRA folder that you backed up.

   7. Copy the folder to its original location.

   8. Start tomcat6. Enter:

      # net start tomcat6

   9. Start your Web browser and DRA.

  10. Login to DRA.

  11. Verify that DRA has the original 6.0 HF1 build number. On the DRA main
      screen, click About. The build number should once again be 30963.
