Errors/Problems Fixed:

Index writer fails with error code 203 when path '/' appears as 
file instead of directory for EMC Celerra file servers and NetApp
vfilers running ONTAP version 7.3.4 or below

For EMC Celerra file servers, collector.exe crashes when raw audit 
files have identical create events without any intervening deletes

Install/Uninstall Instructions:

Apply this hotfix to all Data Insight collector nodes that are 
collectors for EMC Celerra file servers, or NetApp vfilers running
ONTAP 7.3.4 or below.
This hotfix can be applied to Data Insight version 3.0RP1 only.
Patch can be applied to nodes in any order.



By default, value of INSTALL_ROOT is "C:\Program Files\Symantec". 

NOTE: Please keep a backup of the files  you are about to patch. This will be
required in case you want to rollback the patch.


	1. Stop Data Insight services:
	From the command prompt, issue the following command:

	net stop DataInsightComm
	net stop DataInsightCelerra

	2. Unzip the patch files to a temporary folder. In this folder, locate the
	"patches" folder. This folder contains binaries for both 32bit and 64bit 
	Windows Operating System. Files provided in the patch are in the same 
	directory hierarchy as those present on your system at: 
	Example: If you unzip hotfix to C:\temp, it will create the following folders 
	under C:\temp:
	If you are patching a 64 bit server installed at "C:\Program Files\Symantec\DataInsight",
	copy entire contents under "C:\temp\patches\64bit" to 
	"C:\Program Files\Symantec\DataInsight", replacing the original files with those
	from the patch.
	3. Start Data Insight services:
	From the command prompt, issue the following command:
	net start DataInsightComm
	net start DataInsightCelerra
