INCIDENTS FIXED BY THE PATCH
----------------------------
This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

Patch ID: HF040101190-23

* 2765924 (Tracking ID: 2766152)

SYMPTOM:
VOM E-mail alert does not shows disk name during path failover operation
& also does not show name of plex when subdisk is disassociated.

DESCRIPTION:
Failover completed alert raised by VEA contains "%1" in description and alertname field. This should be generic without any %1. Few alerts raised by VEA contain "%#" instead of plex names.

RESOLUTION:
Removed the "%1" string from string from description and alert name fields for failover completed alert. Filtered the other alerts with "%#" in their message.

* 2768863 (Tracking ID: 2770336)

SYMPTOM:
VOM shows vea services not running even though they are running.

DESCRIPTION:
Sometimes there are false alerts in VOM console stating that vea
services are not running. However on the host the services are running.

RESOLUTION:
This issue is because the vea status command sometimes returns
incorrect status. The NR discovery now reports the state only if it is RUNNING or
NOT RUNNING, check if the process is present on unix using ps -ef command and
ignores other service states.
