Apply the HotFix (VRTSccs-F520032962652) on 5.2RU3 CommandCentral Storage Management Servers having below hotfix installed - F520032819385 2. Supported operating systems include: - Solaris 8, 9, and 10 - Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008 3. Expected time taken by hotfix installation process is around 15 minutes. B - Deploying the patch 'VRTSccs-F520032962652.tar.gz' on Windows Management Server ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The examples in the following procedure assume that you installed CommandCentral on a 32-bit host in the default installation directory. 1. Copy ccs-win32-5.2RU3HF520032962652w-patches.zip to a temporary location. For example, to C:\Temp 2. After extracting the hotfix, the below three files will be available. - patches - patches\VRTSccs-F520032962652.tar.gz - README (this file) 3. To apply the update on the Management Server, do following: - Go to the CommandCentral HAL bin directory: "C:\Program Files\VERITAS\CommandCentral Storage\HAL\bin" - Run the following command: perl LocalUpgrade.pl "C:\Temp\patches\VRTSccs-F520032962652.tar.gz" 4. To verify the installation, check the installation logs on the Management Server as follows: - Go to the CommandCentral Storage HAL Data directory. "C:\Program Files\VERITAS\CommandCentral Storage Data\Data\HAL\maint\ \VRTSccs-F520032962652\output" - Check if there are any errors in the stderr.txt file. - Check the detailed logs of the hotfix application in the stdout.txt file. 5.
