This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

Patch ID: 5.0.07.1

* 2957481 (Tracking ID: 2977071)

SYMPTOM:
The HTC agent fails to monitor the configured resource on Linux and HPUX
platforms.

DESCRIPTION:
The monitor entry point refers to a module "HADRSLA" which is not yet
available on Linux and HPUX platforms. As a result, the monitor entry point fails
on these platforms.

RESOLUTION:
Removed references to the non-existent module HADRSLA on Linux and
HPUX platforms.


INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
1. Ensure that "/opt/VRTS/bin" directory is included in your PATH environment
   variable so you can execute all the VCS commands. For more information, 
   refer to the Veritas Cluster Server Installation Guide.
2. Make sure that the HTC Service Group is offline on this system.
3. Install the VRTSvcstc patch using the following command:
    #  swinstall -s 'pwd' VRTSvcstc
4. Verify that the new patch is installed:
    #  swlist VRTSvcstc
    If the patch is properly installed, the following output appears:
# Initializing...
# Contacting target [system]...
#
# Target:  [system]:/
#

# VRTSvcstc             5.0.07.1       VERITAS Clustering Support for Hitachi Truecopy(tm)

     Please refer to the Special install instruction section before performing step 5.

5. Start the HTC Agent using the command
     a) # haagent -start HTC -sys <systemName>   
    b) # haagent -start HTCSnap -sys <systemName>


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
1) Offline Service Group(s) having HTC/HTCSnap resource configured.
2)Stop the Agent using the command
 a) # haagent -stop HTC -sys <systemName>   
 b) # haagent -stop HTCSnap -sys <systemName>   
3)Uninstall the package using the command
 a) # swremove VRTSvcstc
4) Verify that the patch is removed from the system:
    #  swlist VRTSvcstc
# Initializing...
# Contacting target "[system]"...
ERROR:   Software "VRTSvcstc" was not found on host.


SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
--------------------
If you have added the HTC Types from the 3Q2012 release (i, e, VRTSvcstc version 5.0.07.0) then perform the following steps
1) Delete the resource type by executing the following command
    # hatype -delete HTC
    # hatype -delete HTCSnap
     You must delete all resources of the type before deleting the resource type.
2) Add the new HTC Types by executing the script
    /etc/VRTSvcstc/conf/sample_htc/addHTCType.sh
