INCIDENTS FIXED BY THE PATCH

This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

Patch ID: HF040101190-24

* 2906689 (Tracking ID: 2975047)

SYMPTOM:
If a managed host is added from VOM UI, its unable to add the host.

DESCRIPTION:
The Add host from UI does not work and the operation times out. 
However using gendeploy script, the managed host gets added to CMS.

RESOLUTION:
The issue was with parsing of the JSON output if it contained a "JOB" 
substring in the hostname. The parsing logic has now been fixed.


INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
This hotfix is applicable for VOM CMS.
1. Launch a browser and login to the VOM Management Server.
2. Navigate to Settings-> Deployment Management tab.
3. Upload the hotfix to the VOM CMS using the upload button. The hotfix HF040101190-24 should be visible in the table below.
4. Select the HF and install it.


REMOVING THE PATCH
------------------
1. Launch a browser and login to the VOM Management Server.
2. Navigate to Settings -> Deployment Management tab.
3. Select the hotfix. This will take you to the page which shows the status of the HF on all hosts. Uninstall it from the CS.
